{ Mousse } cioccolato e pere - chocolate and pears

3 pere mature

At home we did the mousse a few times, but we always used preparations that you can find at the supermarket. Many people use them always and for every kind of cake, thinking that the preparation is much faster and easier. Actually the recipe for the mousse is very easy and gets ready in no time. This was the first time I tried to do it, and I am very satisfied with the result!

Ingredients for 6 servings of chocolate mousse:
200 g dark chocolate
60 g sugar
2 dl fresh cream
2 eggs

- Separate the egg whites from the yolks. In a bowl, whip the egg whites with 30 g of sugar.
- In another bowl whip 1 dl of cream.
- Mix the egg yolks with the remaining sugar (30 g).
- Melt the chocolate in bain-marie and add 1 dl of cream. Stir until smooth and creamy, then remove from heat.
- Add the egg yolks to chocolate and continue mixing. Stir in the cream and egg whites, mixing gently from bottom to top.
- Pour the mousse into glasses and refrigerate (for half an hour)

Meanwhile, prepare the gelatine with pears, for which you will need:
3 ripe pears
1 tablespoon sugar
1 sheet of gelatine

- Peel and cut the pears into small pieces.  Cook them (low heat) with the sugar, to soften them.
- Mix it with the blender and add the gelatin (previously soften for ten minutes in cold water and dissolved over low heat).

Remove from the fridge the mousse and with a spoon put over the pear jelly. Put in the fridge for 3 hours. Before serving, sprinkle each glass with chocolate flakes.

Bon appétit!!
